RIT is producing a documentary on the Institute as part of the 175th Anniversary.
The film, co-produced by WXXI public television, is titled "RIT 175: Rochester and its Institute."
The film will premier to an RIT audience on Friday, Nov. 12 in Ingle Auditorium:
- 1 p.m. premier showing
- 2 p.m. reception at the Student Alumni Union cafeteria
- 3 p.m. second showing
The documentary is dedicated to the RIT faculty and staff, past and present.
The film will later be broadcast on WXXI on Wednesday, December 1 at 8 p.m. on Channel 21 (Cable 11).
Film and Animation Professor Malcolm Spaull ('79 MFA/cinematography)
and David Cronister, Director of the Educational
Technology Center ('77 BFA/photo illustration), are producing
and directing the 50-minute film. Students in the School of Film and
Animation are also assisting in the project. Please mark your calendars
for the premier showing.
